Every figure below carries the document it came from and the date it was last checked. Where we have not verified one, this page says so instead of printing a number.

Tolls and road charges
Distance-based VerifiedMotorway tolls are charged by distance travelled. A partial network: the AP-1, AP-2, AP-4 and AP-7 concessions reverted to the state between 2018 and 2021, leaving about 1,435 km of directly tolled motorway. The Catalan C-32 and C-33 are tolled separately. Cited to a concessionaire because the ministry's own page refuses this host.

The limits below are the ones that attach to a worked example: a car first registered in 2019, old enough that no age-based exemption changes the answer. A newer car can be answered differently, and the records above say on what.

The published figures are aggregates: a median needs at least 20 adverts behind it, a quartile at least 50, and counts below 500 are published as a band rather than exactly.
