It is left blank rather than shown as zero: across Europe this charge runs from about EUR 33 to about EUR 16,000 on the same car, so blanks read as zeroes would make the dearest countries look the cheapest. Treat it as an unknown cost, not an absent one.

VAT
25% VerifiedNorway's general VAT rate, set annually by the Storting. Norway is outside the EU, so it is not in the Commission's TEDB and this rate is read from the Norwegian statute instead. As everywhere in this catalogue the rate is reference only: no VAT charge is computed anywhere, because whether destination VAT attaches at all is a fact about the transaction rather than about the country.

The published figures are aggregates: a median needs at least 20 adverts behind it, a quartile at least 50, and counts below 500 are published as a band rather than exactly.
